If you have a food allergy, sensitivity, intolerance, or dietary restriction, it is your responsibility to inform us before ordering and to confirm that an item is suitable for you. Menu descriptions, ingredient lists, and any nutritional information are provided as a general guide only and may change without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sal's Famous is not liable for any allergic reaction, illness, or harm resulting from the consumption of our food.

Food Safety & Consumption

Food is prepared fresh and is intended to be consumed promptly. Once an order leaves our premises, proper storage, handling, reheating, and timely consumption are your responsibility. Sal's Famous is not responsible for any illness or harm resulting from improper storage or handling after pickup or delivery.

Pricing & Errors

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice. While we make every effort to keep pricing and menu information accurate, errors may occur. If an item's correct price differs from the price shown, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid, or contact you to confirm before proceeding. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time.

Orders, Cancellations & Refunds

Orders are typically prepared shortly after they are placed and generally cannot be changed or cancelled once preparation has begun. To request a change or cancellation, call us as soon as possible at 780 923 2144.

If your order is incorrect, incomplete, or unsatisfactory, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery so we can make it right. Refunds, credits, or replacements are provided at our discretion and, where issued, are returned to the original payment method.

Pickup & Delivery

Pickup and delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Where offered, delivery may be fulfilled by us or by third-party couriers, and delivery areas, minimums, and fees may apply. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information. Sal's Famous is not responsible for delays, missed deliveries, or issues caused by incorrect information or events beyond our control.

Payments & Third-Party Processors

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. By placing an order, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge your selected payment method for the total order amount, including taxes and applicable fees. We do not store full payment card details. You agree not to initiate fraudulent chargebacks; we reserve the right to dispute chargebacks and to refuse service for fraudulent or abusive activity.

Promotions, Deals & Coupons

Specials, deals, coupons, and promotions are offered for a limited time, may be changed or withdrawn at any time, cannot be combined unless expressly stated, have no cash value, and are subject to availability and any additional terms stated at the time of the offer.

Time Limit for Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim or dispute relating to the Website, Applications, or your order must be brought within one (1) year after the event giving rise to it. After that period, the claim is permanently barred.

Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms. Sal's Famous may assign its rights or obligations under these Terms at any time without notice.

Force Majeure

Sal's Famous is not liable for any failure or delay in performance — including changes to hours, menu availability, or order fulfilment — caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, supply shortages, equipment or utility failure, staffing, network or service- provider outages, illness, or government action.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Edmonton, Alberta.

Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, remedy, guarantee, warranty, or condition that you may have under the Alberta Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Where a provision of these Terms is limited by such law, that provision applies to the fullest extent the law allows.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sal's Famous regarding your use of the Website and Applications, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
